Artist Statement
In this series, I imagine a future where environmental changes have significantly altered our world. Drawing inspiration from the presence of microplastics in ecosystems, I explore the idea of nature adapting to these new conditions. Through the lens of artificial intelligence, I envision a world where synthetic materials take on new forms, integrating into natural environments.
A surreal landscape emerges where fish exhibit traits of plastic water bottles, and flowers grow from soil containing microplastics, adorned with remnants of plastic caps and bottle silhouettes. These visual juxtapositions highlight the intricate relationship between human-made materials and natural ecosystems.

Metamorphosis was exhibited in Paris in October 2025 as part of the Verything Is Fine group show in collaboration with The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). The exhibition was curated by ArtPoint and was inspired by the research of David Chavalarias and his book Toxic Data: How Social Networks Manipulate Opinions.
